Whats this called?? Any ideas

it's a glass tube and it has different glass spheres in it that rise/ fall acc to temperature and the spheres are all diff colours , not cycling related at all btw

I'd wanted one for ages then was given one as present. It never made it home intact. I dropped a case of beer on it in the boot of my car.

I like them as well, but again have never owned one.

My brother-in-law has one of those thermometers. I thought you read the temperature as the sum of all the numbers on the floating bulbs, but that would make it way over 100 celcius. Then I realised it's just the lowest floating bulb you look at.
