The Texaco, on Castleford Road, close to jct31/M62, was £1.97/litre this afternoon

first time I have seena local supermarket more expensive than Esso!

No shortages currently, so keeping fingers crossed for my two 'trips'. Taking MrsF's petrol car to visit my son tomorrow (160 mile round trip). Keeping the fuel in the van so at least we've enough to get to Anglesey and back in a couple of weeks.

Worst case, the trip to the south coast is in MrsF's car if struggling for diesel. Can still get two bikes in the boot at a push.

Due to the new ceasefire the price of Oil has dropped

so - naturally - the price of Petrol (etc) will drop as fast as it rose
and be back down to where it was pretty much immediately!!

Whew!!!

On the A38 towards Liskeard, what I'd call a tourist petrol station, it was £1.91.9 for Diesel. That's the highest I've seen it down here, utter greed knowing it's the main tourist trap route for anyone going to Cornwall

It's around the £1.89 - £1.95 range up in South Manchester.

I mis-remembered. as I drove back past, it was 1.99.9 😮

So happy I switched to an EV.
