We dont even rank in the the top 10! If memory serves Hong Kong bends you over the worst, and some weird countries like Iceland and Malawi outrank us for pump fuel prices, although briefly our diseasel prices were the highest due to the recent shenanigans.

Rocket and feather fuel pricing had been proven to be the case by institutions as august as the Oxford Institute for Engergy Studies, and other than a bit of pompous chest beating nothing is ever done about it.

Price shoots up instantly when someone somewhere farts, despite the fuel at the pump being made with crude that was paid 6 weeks prior. The rocket.

When the problem goes away the retail price drops at a far slower rate than by which it rose. The feather.

Felt quite good having paid 1.477 for unleaded at a Texaco in centre of Kettering as that's 2p cheaper than in home town , then as we drove past Tesco in Kettering noticed 1.429 😔
