What's wrong with my rear wheel? (Inc. Videos)

I've noticed for a while that my rear wheel doesn't just seem to spin stright. I've had it off numerous times and couldn't seem to fix the issue. I at first thought it might be a wheel bearing, so took it to be LBS who replaced the wheel bearing (apparently only needed tightening - but replaced it anyway). It never seemed to fix this issue though.
The way the wheel spins seems to cause some movement in the rear gear magazine and then this creates some movement in the pedals.
I've tried to show all this the best I can in these videos. I'm a total newbie at repairs (I can just about replace the brake pads lol) so have no idea, it may even be meant to do this?
Or what is the likely cause of this problem?

Thanks for the help everyone!

Looks like the wheel has come out of true (can happen if you hit a pothole or other bump too hard) and needs the spoke tensions adjusted to bring it back in to true.

The rear cassette/freewheel is probably spinning slowly with the wheel due to friction caused by dirt/corrosion causing the freewheel/freehub to stick slightly, although a little bit of motion is ok in my opinion, as long as you can still freewheel (i.e, you don't loose the ability to coast).

I'm surprised the LBS didn't pick this up when you took it in for the bearings to be tightened..

I can't tell from those vids but it looks like a buckle. If you turn the wheel slowly and one part of the rim gets closer to the brake pads than the rest it's a buckle. You can feel it if you brake very gently too. If you get any modulation in the braking it's because the rim is uneven. Don't look at the tyre to see this, as tyre mouldings can be uneven, you need to look at the rim.

What's wrong with the wheel...it's on a mountain bike...^_^

I think the tyre isn't seated properly, mix in with that a bit of a lateral buckle at one point on the rim.

THanks for the replies everyone! I'll probably take it back to my LBS see if he can spot anything. It's been like this a while, it's just started to really annoy me now. I've had 3 tyres on it, all of which have had the same result so I think the wheels probably bent slightly. Unless it's the axle as suggested! I guess it would be cheaper to have the spoke tensions adjusted than it would be to buy a new wheel?
I should probably just buy a new bike, and use this one as a practice for self repairs!

Bobsy, why not attempt truing it yourself with a spoke key and online tutorial.
Cannot really do much damage by the look of it!
