I had 1 shot of Vodka this week (testing my blackberry Vodka) so the survey says Jordan (1 shot a week, 52 shots a year). It's over estimated that by 51 shots so I think that I'm more Kuwaiti really. I paid for that shot of Voddy with a horrendous night's sleep and the headache from hell the next morning. I'll get Hubster to test it next year.

I lived there a lifetime ago - at the time it was only illegal to sell, import, export, transport or drink booze in hotels/restaurants - If you were in a restaurant 90% of the Kuwaitis had a bottle of scotch under the table - at £50 a bottle unless it was a special occasion the expats didnt drink much scotch - but you could buy it in bulk from the Bahraini based booze warehouse representatives (the sale took place in Bahrain but delivery could be arranged for a fee) that hung out in all the big hotel lobbies - Kuwait is officially dry now but I cant imagine the booze trade has gone away.
