What's your favourite part of your commute?

Seeing as how I vary my commute so much, it's kind of hard to say.
I do like it when I see more cyclists on the road than cars, I expect that this will dwindle now the darkness has come and the coldness will follow.

+ 1 on the more bikes than cars thought the same about the cold and dark yet this morning i saw close to 60 odd bikes coming into elephant and castle along the cs7 this morning

My favourite part has to be westbound along Holland Park Avenue from Notting Hill. It's downhill all the way and with a following wind and traffic permitting lightning speeds can be achieved! Then there is always the hope of achieving the 'holy grail' of having green lights all the way to Holland Park Roundabout. A full mile or so of high speed downhill exhilaration!

Come on, I can't be the only one!!

The best bit is the mini cruise! I cross the Thames using the Woolwich Ferry. Cyclists get to go right to the front and get off first. There is always something interesting to see and you get a little rest.

Interesting reading - my favourite bit of my new commute is seeing the new and interesting hairstyles that the weather has sculpted for me by the time I get to work. This week I've had 1940s Wing Commander, Alex Kapranos from Franz Ferdinand, and Animal from the Muppets.
