Don't want to sound soppy and glad she doesn't come on here to read this but my favourite thing is just spending time with my wife, over a nice meal and some wine. In the house, in a nice restuarant or on holiday. Doesn't matter just as long as we're together

Radio for me too. To be able to concentrate on getting on with other things and still listen to the radio at the same time has always been magic to me.

I'd agree. I'd be lost at work, in the car, cooking etc.... without it. Make the day so much more pleasant.

I think it has to radio for me.

Tuned to? Nearly every radio station around here these days seems to be called either 'Heart' or 'Star'. I can get about 35 'Hearts' here. Or somethingorother Gold. Generally though I'd agree - radio, even better if I could have my Caroline back!

Easy one, this.

The astounding freight train groove-ride commencing at 4'02" in Track 11 of THIS.

The pinched harmonic at 8'32" being the most exquisite sound in recorded music.

Hook the laptop to the hi-fi, turn it up LOUD, close your eyes, and immerse.......

My second fave thing is long descents with the wind behind me.

As for the first favorite, well I'm just a normal bloke............

Then you would probably enjoy the Dead channel on Radioio

Thanks for the suggestion, but it takes me forever to get round my 460 (and counting) Dead CD collection as it is!

Especially as I tend to alternate Dead-Someone Else-Dead-Someone Else-Jerry Garcia Band-Someone Else-etc-etc.

One would have thought so. Hello, Foggers! What brings you out of the woodwork?

A Charlie Parker break on A Night in Tunisia. Or possibly a slice of bread dipped straight into the dripping in the roasting tin. It's a tough call.
