What's your favourite tipple?
Mine? In the evening, Draft Guinness.... Ice cold.

Sat in the garden in the afternoon sunshine, it has to be cider...

I'm enjoying the first couple of pints I've had for a week (as a truck driver I don't drink at all unless I'm off shift for a few days)

I discovered Murphy's in County Cork, a month ago. I really liked it compared to Guinness. Give it a try if you can find it in a pub. Out of a can, it could be quite horrible.

For getting brained:

Wray and Nephews overproof white cane spirit. Neat.

For refreshment:
Cherry beer, fruit ciders, framboise fruit beer.

Whisky, neat or with a little water. For a refreshing drink, bourbon and american on the rocks.

Cup of tea usually, or occiasionly a small bottle of weak Belgian lager. Yesterday for the first time in 37 years I had a small glass of cider. I quite liked it.

Good choice love a pint of Murphy's last time i had one was Xmas, my preferred booze is red wine, preferably Rioja.

My basic diet is ale, though I eat food occasionally. Having said which, it depends on environment and context - we're going round to friends' for a late afternoon munch today, and my daughter suggested we take the makings for Pimms, which immediately struck me as an idea of quite remarkable genius. I wouldn't drink it often, but on the right occasion, nothing else is as right.
