I alternate between Benny Hill theme , Roobarb and Custard theme, and a mate of mine's band doing Casino Royale

In my final years as a PC I had the Benny Hill theme, but was told to change it as it was unprofessional. As police regulations do not cover the subject I changed it to the Police Squad! Theme, the original one with the 'starring Leslie Nielsen" voiceover, and then dug my heels in.

Long Way Round by the Stereophonics for my ringtone.

I'm bit more quirky with my message alerts - the current one is the phone effect from Our Man Flint (and more recently, Austin Powers) but I also use the sound of the book from the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy and "Radiophonic Stomach" which I believe was first used in the Goon Show. They drive @gavgav mad if I get a message in the pub.

There is usually a collective turning of heads, from people in the pub, wondering what on Earth that sound is!
