At least 3 of my bikes were destined for the tip and another couple came from a bike recycling project.

Finding the parts, often cheaper, at auctions than the person I was buying them for.

Ten stone of welding rods, blacksmiths leg vice, industrial jack, all bought at scrap value and taken to a relative who would make use of them. Not all at the same time though.

Bought many an item, cleaned them up and sold them on.

If I could lift it, I'd shift it.

:okay: smarter than the average bear huh??

For the avoidance of doubt, I'd like to point out that I don't 'farm' ladies. :shy:

That wouldn't be very nice
I'll reword it as, 'woman who farms.'

Vacuums is one for me, I must have recovered and repaired maybe 6 of them. The last one was a Henry chucked out at the bins this spring. I was giving it a cursory look and the apparent owner was nearby, its fubared he said, it went with a big bang. Itd do for spares I thought , still might be able to fix it anyway and took it.
A quick look and test, the main switch had blown, literally. New one fitted, a few quid, still in use, perfectly good vacuum.
