What's your weekend plans?

Tonight I'm off to my mum's for dinner and many vodkas.

Tomorrow after a small run, I'm taking the tin lids to The Wildlife Park in Dalton-In-Furness. (anyone been? Any good? Wellies?) Stopping there for the eve. (Dalton. Not the Wildlife Park *snort*)

Sunday we're off to Wadendlath to surprise view where my Grandad's ashes are scattered to wish him a happy birthday, then we'll be having lunch in Keswick before heading home, having a blast on the turbo and forgetting that it's Sunday night and nothing is ready for school the next day :-/

err... well the weekend if starting off by me cycling out to my OH's work to cycle home with him (that usually means slow him down, but I think tonight it means carry his kit from his earlier telephone conversation!). Then Saturday, weekly shop and over to my parent's with their shopping and to help them empty out their old motorhome which is going during the week - this translates as "us doing all the work, them sitting in the sitting room"... then home in the late afternoon to cook and sit in front of the TV for the evening. Sunday my OH wants a nice long bike ride taking lunch with us, so more miles onto this weeks already larger than normal total, totally ignoring the fact I have a 50 mile round bike ride on Monday for a hospital appointment.... I may consider sleeping on Tuesday.

Last of three outings with the scout group to earn our environmental badge, some cleanups and litter picking will be done.
then take the youngest off to his friends birthday party.
back home cook a nice meal,
sunday prolly a walk around the local nature reserve with the monsters, help the eldest break in his new boots and get used to a full pack.
also book my bike in for a gold service, it needs a full strip down, clean, lube and rebuild. not to mention some replacement parts.

The kids are off Camping with Scouts, so we've decided to go to Chester for the weekend (the kids are staying nearby). So whilst the kids camp (indoors) we are staying in the Hilton. Heh heh.

Going north to look over a house for my cousin, might even pop in by JOG to welcome/cheer off any daft cyclists, unlikely.

Taking a group of my scouts to the district Outdoor Scouting Competition on saturday, then taking a different group of my scouts to the county Climbing Competition. At some point during the weekend I will also be expected to entertain my son (who is going to the climbing competition with his Cub pack) and my wife (who is doing neither of the above!)

The wildlife park in Dalton is good, but they're in the middle of a massive expansion plan so there may be some disruption.

Sunday 5am work, then back to JuJitsu for 10am.

Home then maybe an afternoon spin somewhere.

Heading to The Lakes for the week so travelling up and settling in over the weekend. There may be cycling involved during the week. Looking forward to that first pint of Bluebird in the Black Bull.

tomorrow i hope to find some adders - weather permitting. then i may go and watch peregrines. then meet girlski. sunday i shall walk for miles, stopping to lift felt and tin and make a note of what ones need replacing ahead of survey season.

Off to Fords in the morning to get them to reset my car. Had it serviced last week and they didn't turn off the service/oil reminder so I get an anoying beep everytime I start it.
First Skyride Local of the year Sunday so need to check a bit of the route on Saturday to make sure it isn't flooded.
Sunday, the actual ride, shower then Tescos to get my food for the rest of the week.
