Last night I went to a mate's gig to give him a bit of support. Today I intend to buy a kazoo and tomorrow I'm playing a ukulele gig at Acorn's Children's Hospice in Walsall.

Last Monday at a cycle maintenance course I refitted my rear tyre the wrong way, so should sort that out. While I'm at it I can put a different tube in with a longer valve stem.

My lovely wife went out for tea with 2 friends yesterday evening so I walked up to the local pub and had a few too many beers. A West Ham supporting friend of the licensee brought several of his mates in who are up for the game at Goodison today, and they were great fun, often bursting into that "Forever blowing bubbles" song.

Off out shortly to meet the lads in the pub before going to Goodison to watch the Toffees take on West ham, and after the game we are heading into Liverpool City Centre to meet up with a few rednose mates, one of whom is celebrating his 50th birthday, for a bite to eat and more punishment of the old liver.

Bike ride tomorrow morning.

Picked up jockey wheels and chain rings. Had a look at some second hand bikes but the steel roadies where gaspipe jobbies, and the Reebok one you'd have to pay me to have it! There was a gorgeous matte grey cannondale carbon jobbie at the lbs in my size! Was only £420 too, hhhmmm

Wife and kids both poorly now, so will be fun tonight

Brick training this morning, now tidying the house and packing ready for a trip to the Lake District for Wife's birthday
Walking, spa sessions and fine dining in store but I think it'd be bad form to ask if I can bring my bike.

The priority is fence-us erectus,then sort thru' the bits-box for a wireless babbage engine for the tandem then may be a session on the rollers or even a real outdoor ride

Got it all ready to get it back on the road... Only to be stuck in three inches of ice in our driveway.
