my bike has stood outside without either shelter or cover since September 2013 as I cannot currently get it in the garage after rides.

Bit concerned about your priorities here. How many bikes have you got in that garage to stop your current ride being given the shelter it deserves?

Currently I am in a state of N+1. However I wish to upgrade this to a status of S-1

New wheels came today and you can certainly tell the difference, checked the wear indicator on the old set and it is still plainly visible so im going to keep them as a spare set .
