Wheel build

Upto now I have been contemplating a 23mm rim build but TBH due to several factors I'm shying away from them.

A DT 415 28h Laser F and 465 32h Race R with Hope 3 hubs is appealing

Any major issues with this build? I'm a portly 60kg and no power king


One issue is that my 2 preferred builders don't use these rims/hubs so anyone else had a similar build who can recommend a builder.

Hope 3 hubs are VERY noisy when you freewheel. I had them on an Open Pro wheel build I had last year, but in the end the noise got the better of me, (yup it's that loud), and they had to go.

I know nothing of those DT rims, but with 32h they should be fine IMO.

I'd stick to Mavic rims and Shimano hubs if I were you, easy to source and I bet your LBS will have them in stock and ready to build.
