Ok after been hit by a car my rear wheel was written off by the LBS on a quote for repairs, driver coughed up for new wheel set all good (with the exception the LBS nicked a small plug on my bike). Well I couldn't see any real damage on the wheel to it so popped it down to Evans for a quick look just to be sure, anyway the called me back and said as far as they could tell it was just a bent/broke spoke which is hard to get hold of but they can in a couple of weeks!!

Now I know Evans are not the best mechs in the field and I hadnt used this LBS before (and doubt I will again since when I picked the wheels up they where not forth coming with the old wheelset, someone there stole a Di2 frame hole bung lol) but who can I trust?

Well, you ought to insist your old wheels be returned to you or compensate you for them.

Sorry, I got the old wheelset back after questioning when I picked the bike up and paid for the repairs (thanks to the driver who coughed up).

So my real question is... Have the LBS ripped the driver who hit me off?

You haven't put the new wheel set price or what wheels they are? So there is no way of knowing if the LBS has ripped the driver off.

Zondas 2 way fit, they charged £500 as they come as a set. I picked the bike up and paid and he was about to say bye when I asked for the old (damaged) wheelset, he goes around the bike saying "ill see if the mech has them laying about", the front wheel I knew was fine so thought I could use for spares or flog.

Hi Leodis. The cheapest I found them was for £305 on chain reaction. They might get them cheap as they are a big company. But worse ways your LBS probably charged around £100 or just over for fitting the wheels and new tyres. Glad you got the old wheel back. If you can keep it as a spare, that's good. But the driver paid, so all is cool for you. Nice wheel set btw!
£332 for the two way fit!
