can a 6 bolt wheel be easily converted to centre lock ?

Just buy a 6 bolt rotor, they can be cheap as chips so hardly worth bothering with any messing about/adaptors etc.

As far as I know, only adapters to do the reverse are available. I just can't see how it would work, the way you want it. Think about it, an adapter with a hole smaller than the bolt circle of those six bolts cannot be recessed to place a disc in the same place.
