Wheelbase shop online recommendation

Hi anyone ever bought a bike from Wheelbase-Shop online based in the lake disrict, Cumbria?. I've never heard of them before, doing a little homework before making a purchase. thanks all

They're the big outfit in the Woodyard at Staveley, by Wilf's Cafe.

They sell mainstream stuff that 95% of cyclists want 95% of the time. Pretty good formula for success.

Thanks for the info on Wheelbase was going to bike my first road bike from them.

I visited that shop back in 1998 during a cycling holiday in the lakes. Was impressed with what I saw, large shop, good kit. Only bought a seat tube quick release though so I can't comment about what their bike sales are like

It's been bankrupt a couple of times since then with several different owners. The original ones walked away from the carnage and are now ProBikeKit.

The present set up seems more stable.

Maybe a little out of date but I bought a pricey bike from them about 3 years ago. Good experience throughout.
