Looking for new wheels for Boardman team CX.
Disc brakes,
QR (many now seem to be TA),
under 2kg (stock ones are heavy lumps),
28-32 spokes
Need to take 32-35mm tyres
Under £300 (absolute max £350, can't justify more for a commuter/utility bike)

Any off the peg options, or should I just ask Spa to build me some

TIA. :okay:

I'm about to do the same. I'm looking at DT Swiss E1800. They can be QR or TA, which is handy as my bike has both...

I managed to get some Kinesis HD wheels, new old stock from ebay, at a good price.
These look reasonable, from Winstanley.

Not yet, but with your history of new bikes it is only a matter of time.
The new bike will come with its own wheels though (and this one would get sold with wheels)
I need them to simply bolt on, won’t want to be faffing with converters and what not

you must be about due one then
I do have one sitting in a basket on a website (and a friend who works for a company owned by a well-known bike company is enquiring about discounts )

tbh I’d have to sell at least one bike to accommodate and I can’t be bothered with the hassle!!
