You'll need to more specific about your budget.have a Merida scultura 903 , decent bike but find the wheels a tad heavy especially uphill. Any recommendations that are sensibly priced ?
Without information it's impossible to recommend. There's plenty of information on wheels to suit all budges on this forumhave a Merida scultura 903 , decent bike but find the wheels a tad heavy especially uphill. Any recommendations that are sensibly priced ?

I thought there was negligible gain from saving weight at the rim...Go for some lightweight/folding tyres instead - the same effect for a fraction of the cost.

Just teasing, to a point, as a nod to the other thread. Although there are similarities to the argument in fairness.Come on 'bp' - stop being deliberately obtuse. A good pair of tyres is probably the cheapest, most beneficial change you can make to a bike.

I happen to agree, that tyres make a big difference, but then I also thought wheels did too.
