Watch the top left of the screen, sound up. Apart from my swearing, listen to the noise its talons made when it made contact with my helmet!

I've genuinely lost count how many times the bugger has dive bombed me in the exact same location over many years, but I finally have it on film.

Several years ago my old neighbour was swooped on by a buzzard. At the time he never wore a helmet and it actually scratched his head and neck with it’s talons.

There was one that used to attack cyclists and runners near Brandis Corner on the way to Holsworthy. It got some of the riders on my 600 a few years ago. Eventually it got too cocky and attacked a van.
My other 600 is titled the Ex-Buzzard (it goes from Exeter to Leighton Buzzard and back) in memory of the bird.

Not to sure?
It’s usually when they have a nest nearby but it seems early for that.

It or one of its family have been attacking cyclists for years on the same section of lane. If l had to take a guess, at least 11 years since my first attack. Back then l thought it was a branch that had hit me on the head. But l stopped and turned around.....no branch?
For weeks it baffled me, till one day this this time l saw the bugger coming
