Someone who knows to set the saddle to the correct height?

Does being able to make beans on toast make me a cook?

… when you finally grow up and realise that motor vehicles are tools and not toys, and you'd rather be on a bicycle than in a metal box.

Surely it is when you ride in full team replica Lycra? +10 points if the team matches your bike..

I'm thinking a POAB will not have submitted a response to this post or be a member of this community in general.

When I was in my teens and early twenties I cycled everywhere for transport, and VERY occasionally for leisure... had a stint commuting in London in early 90s for a year or so... all this time, looking back, I think I was a POAB... I had no idea about maintenance, never took spare tubes, can't remember any punctures miles from home (luckily)... it's only in the last 7 yrs or so, since I took up cycling again, and it became my main hobby, that I would see myself as someone for whom it has become more than just a form of transport.

Seat height is a good sign... I see so many people around whose seats are way too low... advised a friend of a friend on this some time ago, when he was going out for a pootle... he said it changed the whole experience for him! He suddenly found it actually comfortable and enjoyable
