When does your weekend start????

I always feel mine starts on a Thursday afternoon.

Always have. Think it's to do with the fact it was the night my Mum and Dad always went and done their shop for the week and on a Thursday night the dinner was great, the fridge was full with goodies, everyone got a sweet and Top of The Pops was on the telly.

I have always felt like this and although still work hard on a Friday it just never seems a tough day. Hence the fact I'm off to lunch now and shall have a glass of wine with it.

Love Thursdays. Often the promise of the weekend is better than the weekend itself.

For me it has to be Friday evening when I get home from work. Always a feel good factor leaving the office behind for two and a bit days

It use to be Wednesday morning.

It is now about 10pm on Sunday

I always think it sounds strange when people say 'Have a good weekend' on a Thursday because they don't work on Fridays. Especially so if they say it at about 8 a.m. on Thursday morning.

about 6pm on a friday. i've arrived home, had my shower, put my jarrmies and fleecy slippers on and have the whole of friday nite plus the weekend to look forward to.

Mine starts at 1600 today - about another 35 minutes. I've been working 0800-1600 4 days a week since the beginning of January, and am absolutely loving it. If I can avoid it, I'll never work full-time again.

Thursday for me too. I'm the first to look for an excuse for a beer and often I am hungover on a Friday.

I have been trying to lay off the booze of late though...

Due to doing shifts 2days, 2 nights then 4 off, my weekend starts at the end of my last night shift..

When I can eventually afford to retire it'll start at 0001 on a Monday.

Until then it depends on who will pay me for my services and when they want them.
