"Only two weeks?" when I mention the time slots for summer tours it turns out that she wasn't joking.

I was mulling over the European Bike Express schedules and mistakenly thought that a month was the minimum time between being dropped off and picked up on its Atlantic route.

"That's fine." She said.

She meant it too!

Bugger the Camino de Santiago, I just might finish the Euro Velo Six route and pedal from Budapest to the Black Sea.

Does anyone else have the luxury of a long leash?

Long leash related but not bike lol:-

Earlier this year I suggested to my other half we go a city break to Lisbon.

She asks "why Lisbon?". I answer "I've heard its a great city for photography". She replies "if you're going for photography then you can go on your own". Me "are you sure?" Her "yes, no point in me dragging you away when you want to take more pics. Gave a good time".

And I did

Hubby is off to Skye soon to take photos - I have no interest in landscape photography so am happy to stay at home.
When we go up North on holiday next year he will photograph the landscape and I will be off in the distance
