When should xmas trees go up?

For us usually about the 2nd weekend of December. They should never be up in November.

We haven't really got space for one now we've got 2 kids, but Mrs matt still thinks we should use the 8ft monster tree we had in our last house

My parents have a little 2' high plastic tree that has fibre optic lighting and all the bits built in. That sometimes comes out for Christmas and gets plugged in. It is a good distraction on the top of the telly when the usual Christmas rubbish is on.

The tree goes up in our house usually on the first Sunday in December. We don't go for the peripheral lights or decorations. The living room is waaaaay too small. And 'm too mean to pay for the extra electricity.

Anyone going to put fairy lights on their bikes?

Where did he get them from?

I haven't got a clue, my lad was driving back home after dropping his Mrs off at the Hospital where she works when he spotted the cyclist, apparently one he see's regularly, with his backpack festooned with Xmas lights..
