In the garage the 2 hybrids hang from red rubber coated hooks from wilko's by the back wheels. Keeps them out of the way of the 3 year old who likes screwdrivers![/quote]

Why is your 3 year old drinking cocktails?

Respect.

However, my Mrs does not quite agree.
Neither did my ex, which might have been a contributing factor in The Big Bust Up!

Speaking of my ex and bike storage ... she didn't like the idea of having her bike lying around in her living room and we don't have have garages or sheds here (think Coronation Street-type terraced houses on cobbled backstreets). I solved the problem by fixing two large shelf brackets to her kitchen wall and sliding pipe lagging over them to make a wall-mounted bike stand!

Two live in the Lounge. Four live in the spare bedroom and one (the cheapo bike I built up for visitors) lives in the garage.

with 3 small children in a small house my baby has to o outside unfortunatly
No shed either so I made this
Pollycarb roof down the side of the house, bike mounted on the wall with a decent thick cover. Then a ground and wall anchor with some D-locks and a chain for security

Best I can do unfortunately

Main Shed - 2 x kids bikes, 2 x my bikes (currently both road), tools, etc
Larger shed in garden.
Bike Shed - Commuter bikes for wife and I. Mountain bike and shopper.
Recently built with space to hang up to 3 bikes, side of house, so easy access.
As the weather is picking up I'll swap soon the mountain bike and everyday-road bike soon.

I chucked the bed out of the spare bedroom and most of my bikes live in there, except the one I'm using at that moment which is in living room 1 with the p.c and the dogs bed.

Am liking the idea of the bike tent, but security a factor?
We (Annaspanna & myself) are in a 5th floor apartment so the tent would go on the balcony...if anyone can get up there and steal 2 bikes then well done to them! I'm more worried about the wind blowing the tent away bikes included, so will figure our how to bolt it down.

The garden shed for me, no space in the house and no money in the budget for a secure bike locker. I keep the two bikes locked together and to some piece of garden equipment to make life difficult if someone breaks in.
