Given its nearly the end of the year, I thought I have a look back at where I've been this year; what about you ?

The majority of my rides are local, so mostly Essex, but also London and Kent.

I'm a stealth cyclist, I like it that way.

Various day rides and tours on various locations in counties Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Tyrone, Antrim, Derry, Armagh and Down.

Mostly around Hertfordshire and central London, and The New Forest for a cycling weekend which was great.

Started the year by taking a bike to Orlando, where I did 2 of this years rides for the 100 km challenge.
Also went to France and based myself at Amiens for a week, where another 2 contributions were made to the 100 km challenge.
Locally, the highlight was a 3 day Scottish coast to coast in April, from Largs to Berwick on Tweed. That was to be the start of a long hot summer of cycling, but then the rain came on and forgot to stop....

Mostly east Lancashire but also the Yorkshire Dales and north west Lancashire. I'm not into touring and taking in the the scenery,though fair play to those who are!
I get all the different gradients and climbs around here so there's no need to go far to experience different types of rides.
