Thanks for the replies so far..
I can visit evanscycles and cyclesurgery on my next visit but they dont do all the shoes I want to try unfortunately, hence I'm looking for a shop..
There is a shop in Somerset and one in Chesire but its too fat to travel frpm Dover.. but as a couple of posters have said.. I do need to try them on as sizes vary..

I bought a pair of Sidi's online last year. I must have been lucky, ordered a size up from normal and they fitted a treat.

Thats one of the pairs I was looking at and funnily enough if you scroll right thought the stock list at Evans they do stock the Sidi Pro 5 which one of the shoes on my list, and they have a few more makes as well..

Well I'm glad to say I have now got my road shoes ay last..
I went to a Spanish bike shop and had a look around and among the shoes was a pair of Sidi Pro 5's and they was in my size 44, so I tried them on and I fell in love with them.. alas they were in blue which I didn't want so I asked him if he had a pair of red ones and he said not till next years order comes in.. sorry? but he did say try another shop which I did but they had sold out as well. ( must be a good shoe ) not to be put off I looked online for a red pair and I found a red pair at a great price so I got them..
So thanks one and all for the replies..

I bought some Shimano shoes that seemed to fit ok but in the summer on longer rides my feet must have got swolen and the shoes became tight. I easily soved this problem by wearing 3 pairs of thick socks squeezing a foot into the shoe then heating up my shoe with a hair dryer. You could actually feel the shoe slacken. leave it a minute to cool while still on yer foot then I did the other foot. Now they fit like like a glove!! I mean a well fitting cycling shoe!
