Ok i am going out by myself tomorrow for a longer ride.Only done 45 in two recent rides.So i am thinking York or Burnsall.

Can I change my vote? Burnsall on the River Wharfe looks much nicer than York. Burnsall!

Going to be nice tomorrow, shame to waste it in York, Burnsall all the way. Burnsall, Appletreewick, Barden Tower, The Strid & Bolton Abbey, beer in Ilkley to finish, what a day! If you can climb over to Saltaire then I'll buy you pint.

If your going from Meanwood, York will be flatter but you will probably have to return into a head wind, I'd go to Burnsall.

I think that you should get yourself a few maps and use them to introduce some variety into your rides.

There might be a source of pies in Burnsall, e.g. cafe, but not a pie shop.

Burnsall it is, more ups and downs going to Burnsall.Also i can pop into Otley on my return,just for a latte.
