I would say in the last few weeks of the tourist season, I went in October. Its warm but not too warm, perfect temp for cycling. Also its not busy since the tourist season is ending or over. Although for others you would have to pick earlier as towards October everything closes tourist shops wise.

Thanks for that. I may not be able to negotiate October as for others the ideal would be July/August but late May/early June and late September have been discussed so hopefully that'll be warm enough for everyone to enjoy the holiday (and cool enough for me to cycle).

Mallorca I hope is as good as everyone says as I am going and in 8 weeks this time it should be sunny and warm.... Just need to get some training in here!!!

Not been there since I was a baby but judging by the amount of mates who head that way to cycle it definitely sounds good

I've been thinking of going to Mallorca for a cycling holiday. When would you say is the best time of year to go in terms of having a climate that's suitable for cycling but also warm enough to make an enjoyable holiday for others?

I've cycled ther in the first half of August. It was hot, but if you take your time and drink plenty there isn't really a problem. It's also quite effortless. There were plenty of other cyclists out and about too.

Those Betty Swollocks make for a nice dip in the sea.....

Europe's best country for just about anything, let alone riding. I still think it's incredible how important time is there.

I wonder why they insist on measuring it in dreadfully inaccurate cuckoo clocks then...
