Wheres the seat?

I just got to wondering where the seat is on my bike?

You see I have a seat tube and a seat post which attaches to a saddle! So I was just wondering why I have a saddle and not a seat or why I dont have a Saddle tube and post and for that matter stays?

Clearly too much time on my hands!

The seat is the bit that fits on top of the saddle. HTH
