Which Bike kick stand - Help

HNY All,

see attached pic my heavy (but loved)old hybrid drives me mad 😡 when leaning or parking as the front wheel constant twists and pulls the bike even when the front rack isn’t loaded on my daily commute let alone when packed and touring !

suggestions on best kick stand or other solutions pls much appreciated many thanks

I don't like single leg propstands as the bike can easily topple over or get bumped by a passing pedestrian. Much prefer to lean the bike against a solid object. What I do to stop the front wheel spinning round and toppling the bike, is to put something through the front wheel and round the forks so the wheel can't rotate. Sometimes I use a strip of industrial Velcro that also doubles as a trouser leg clip, and if wearing shorts I use a cheap cable lock through the wheel and round the down tube.
