Which Bike?

Hi guys, need advice, looking to get a new bike and am stuck between these 2. I need independant experienced advice please.

Difficult to pick on your behalf, really. I would rather have the Giant but there isn't a JE James anywhere near you. Halfords at least you can go to the local one and try the Carreras at different sizes.

Hmmm, I have a Revel and my brother has a Carrera not dissimilar to the one you have linked to . They are both a good solid entry level MTB.

If you are looking to take them off-road, and looking at the specs, I would actually be more tempted by the Carrera in this case as it does have hydraulic discs and generally seems to have better components.

The Carrera has the better spec of the two. My cousin has an old version of the Vulcan which is still going strong after several years use (and being run over by a car, but that's another story) so if it was my choice I'd have no problem going for that one.

Ok guys thanks for the advice. Looks like I will be going for the carrera then. Imam going to pop in my local halfords this week and look at the bike.
