Hi All. 55 year old male. Keen cyclist but strictly leisure. Retiring my trusty Ridley Orion after 7years. Limited budget. Three choices. Low end. Merida Scultura 5000. Medium. Stevens Ventoux disc. Top end. Look 695. Which should I go for. Thanks

What’s wrong with the Ridley? Barely broken in at 7 years why not use the budget to freshen it up if the frame is sound?

7 years... flipping heck... 3 of my 4 are around 30 years old, and the 2015 MTB get's a right bashing all the time, and is still sweet.

If you want prestige, have the Look.
If you want rarity, the Stevens.
If you want something you will probably use rather than avoid in case it's damaged, the Merida.

The trouble is , strange as it may sound , it’s a 56 and slightly too big I inherited it and over the last year have been doing more 100 plus spins and it gets uncomfortable
