Which bikes of the Aluminium and Carbon era will become tomorrow's classics?

The only nostalgic alloy or plastic bikes will be historic ones involved in feats like race-winning or notable adventures, kept in museums rather than ridden much.
Why?
Any old bike will be of interest to someone, regardless of pedigree.
It's often the least regarded models that become the rarest, as they tend to be discarded as 'consumables'.

I'm not saying there won't be one or two fans of random bikes, but that isn't the same as being classics.
Today's bikes will be just as much classics in years to come as anything from the past is now. Back in the sixties who'd have thought the Claud Butlers sold then (Mostly gas pipe specials in that era) would now be collectable?
