My OH has a Boardman Fi hybrid. Now that I've changed the cassette (to give a lower bottom gear), fitted a shorter stem and swapped to a Selle Italia Gel Flow saddle she's happy with it. As supplied the ride position was too stretched forward.
It's a good bike, beautifully finished – the frame looks like carbon because you can't see any welds – and the component spec is very competitive for the price. If you're going to buy a Boardman, it's worth joining British Cycling (Ride membership at £24) so that you can get 10% off Halfords vouchers.
If you get a Boardman (and assuming the Fi's have the same spec as the mens) then watch out for the Formala hubs on the rear wheels. Mine was a loose bearing system and had no end of problems after 4-5k miles until I swtiched out the hubs.
