Which cycle carrier?

I have a Ford Focus ST170 - 2003 and I am looking for a cycle carrier. I don't need anything expensive as it will be only used 2 or 3 times a year.

I saw this:

however one of the reviews says it doesn't fit Ford Focus (he didn't say which year, tho)

So I was wondering what do you use? And before you ask, no I don't have a roof rack.

How about a tow ball?

I've never had a problem with Thule kit and I'd never buy something from eBay without knowing it would work, especially something which claimed 'quality' in the title. If something is quality, it generally doesn't need to shout about it.

IMO and IME at least.
