Which cycling computer ?

I’m looking in to getting a Garmin computer but not sure which to choose I’m not a serious rider who does long bike rides it’s mainly for commuting and the odd ride out. It would have to sync with my Garmin virb elite camera as well. Thx in advance.

You’ve probably just missed the Black Friday deals so wait until the Christmas sales if looking for a better price

I have the older Explore. Has all the mapping etc, big screen but not the power meter stuff or training extras. The main point is it's really good for routes, both on and off road. Impressed with mine, and they are often on 'offer' so keep an eye out over the next month.

To just use a garmin, there is no subscription.

You can choose to subscribe to such as Strava (but there is a free version too) for uploading your garmin data to, but that is a choice.

Now I’ve looked at dcrainmaker site I’m swaying towards the explore :-) as I’m not bothered about the cadence and strava stuff etc

You get Cadence with the Explore, and if connected to your phone it will auto upload to garmin and strava linked accounts.
