which Films/Shows/events have you queued for?

Strangely I can remember queing to see the Star Wars films (of which there are only 3) when they were re-released for the cinema in the remastered format in 1996/97.

You have to remember that most of my generation had only ever seen them on crappy VHS, not the big screen.

Talking of not queueing, I went to the RA quite a few years ago to see the Hokusai exhibition. Got there and the queue was eeeeeeenormous so I just strode purposefully to the front of one of the queues, barged in, bought a ticket and went straight in - no problem. Must have a bit of German blood in me!!
