Which new Spd-Sl pedal?

This is for the new carbon steed. Up until now, I've just been running spd pedals that suited me as I thought it was more important to not look lime a total weirdo when off the bike. This is more for days when it's all about the bike so I was looking at these but wasn't sure if there were better around the same price.

Shimano 105 pedals are decent. You might get Ultegra for the same price if you shop around, which are lighter. Otherwise they'd be fine.

I still have a few pairs of the old alloy type brand new in a cupboard as I wont pay £12 for cleats when I can get pedals and cleats for less than £25

Yeah, nice logic.

It is sound logic, until you realise that you could buy 2 pairs of cleats for every pedal and cleat set that are in the cupboard taking up space and gathering dust, when you’ll never use them.

You could always sel, the pedals.

I was really thinking about the logic of going for the cheaper pedals if the only difference is the few grams that I wouldn't notice.

You can punt them for £20, I prefer to hold onto them as my bike collection keeps growing.
