I like Alf - 14 lessons from the life of Alf Engers. Gets my vote.

Another vote for Breaking the Chain, also enjoyed The Rider by Tim Krabbe, but my favourite is Tomorrow we ride by Jean Bobet.

I don't read many books 5 or 6 times, but I have done with that one. In fact, it has been a few years since I last read it so I might treat myself to it again!

Beryl Burtons too, if a bit dry & statistical

"Breaking the Chain", Willie Voight, eye opening and horrible account of drugs in cycling.

I've got a copy of that somewhere
