I need to buy a new electric razor. I have used Philishave for many years and been quite happy. I have decided to go with a series 5 which is mid range.
Below are 2 links which are confusing me.
1) is from Boots. They claim it should be £140 but is on offer @ £70
2) is from Argos. It is £60. They tell me it has always been £60.......never been on offer.........never been at a higher price.
So........both series 5 but with a different set of numbers after that. Both claim virtually identical features although the Boots one claims a slightly longer 'run' time 40 minutes as against 30.

Any logical thoughts/comments welcome asap as I am supposed to get it tomorrow.
Thanks

They are different models, boots one has 1hr charge, argos one takes 8hrs.
I hate stuff that takes a long time to charge, so i would get the boots one.

Stuff like shavers and toothbrushes seem to be permanently half price at Boots. They must be the loss-leaders to get footfall through the doors.

If they sell the same model, John Lewis will price match Boots or Argos and give you a second year of warranty gratis :okay:

My great great granny used to tell me "never trust a Yorkshire man".
If the Argos is in a Sainsburys, check the Sainsburys price.

If a Store has an Argos in store, they're letting Argos take over that side of things.

How does the quality of an electric razor shave compare to a traditional wet shave.

Does one get as smooth a finish?
