this also crossed my mind would I look a bit silly.

At the moment I wear a fluorescent yellow jersey and black shorts for my commute to work. Just fancied something a little different and less bright .

Why do you want to be less bright? Do you not wear a yellow jersey to feel more visible?

What colour schemes are present on your bike? I run all black and white (apart from my drinks bottles-for now) so would go with number 2 to keep the theme, but that's just me.
Do we also assume you don't ride a BMC or TREK? None around for whatever make your ride is?

Just noticed the BMC are bib-shorts and the TREK are not- that would sway it for me almost straight away, go with number 1.

I will always wear the bright yellow on a commute to work. Just looking for casual ride gear

My bike is black white bit I thought the red white would stand out against the bike. I don't ride for either

One of my bikes is silver and orange in colour. I'd go for number one as i like orange!
