Here's a good deal on the older Cannondale CAAD 10 if you like the team colour scheme

Or for a bit more, carbon

At least it's not black, but you will need to budget for the matching kit to be a complete wannabee ;)

If they have it in your size, buy the CAAD 10! Awesome bike; for that kind of money you won't get anything better.

I bought one from Paul's cycles last October. Unfortunately, I foolishly promised my 14 year old that I'd let him have it to ride when he'd grown enough, if he promised not to tell Mrs Plumtree how much it cost!

He tried it this week. Fits like a glove. Hurrah! That's really good news, isn't it?

Hm, I've got one on my CAAD8 and it's done over 5,500 miles without a hiccup. I think it's worth pointing out to the OP that some bikes won't take a full Shimano groupset as they don't make BB's for every standard, BB30 being one of them (Hence most Cannondales have FSA from new). So if you wanted that, you'd have to get an adapter of some kind.

I have been searching for a new bike myself and come across a Radon from Germany , they are great value bikes and come with top spec , triple butted frame and carbon fork , they seem to be best value out there at the moment ,mostly Ultegra , gp4000 tyres , Handlebars and stem are top quality Syntace Racelite £930 delivered
I have the Cube GTC but think the Radon is better value , Boardman seem to be down grading the Spec to keep to a price point on their bikes now , they were great value when they first appeared.

iv'e got some news, iv'e ordered a bike,it is the boardman road Pro carbon from halfords http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/road-bikes/boardman-road-pro-carbon-bike. i have never noticed this bike before but as soon as i seen it i liked it and the specs are decent. one thing that put me away from the CAAD was the fact that evans cycles is quite far away from me so if anything were to happen i'll be stuck to get it fixed, the halfords near me is only a 10 min walk away  thank you guys for all the posts, greatly apreciate it. i really wasn't expecting so many replies for my first ever post on here but you guys did help out

A nice bike plus it has PF30 instead of the old BB30 bottom bracket so you should not have the same problems that others had with Boardman bikes when they first came out , PF30 is similar construction to Shimano pressfit and is more durable .

Are they still running the 15% off and the 10% British cycling discount? Good deal if so (if not worth cancelling, joining BC and reordering, £34 with indispensable legal and third party indemnity)
