I'd advise going to a good local LBS that can do a sit bone measurement and recommend something. Most will also give you a 1 - 3 month window to come back and swap the saddle if it's not for you. My wife did this through our nearest Specialized store and, after swapping one saddle, is now much more comfortable. Don't forget the difference a good pair of padded shorts can make too.

I've been tempted to get the SMP TRK (in yellow) for a road bike, haven't bit the bullet yet, there are a lot of favourable reviews though but it is heavily padded.

The width is what appeals to me, I've tried various widths from 130mm to 140mm and yet the old Brooks saddle I have that's apparently huuge and near 200mm by my measurement has felt the most comfortable. It's not my sit bones that hurt though, it's more the soft tissue further up on the nose of the saddle.

Saddles are an awkward thing to get right.

Good luck with the one you ordered.

Thanks. It's on it's way so no going back!
The one I have on the hybrid took about 2 weeks to feel comfortable, so I'm expecting this to be the same.
If I have to change it again I'll need to have a massive saddle sale!
