Which Screen Protector?

Morning. After some advice from the wise ones on here. Just bought my first GPS - a Garmin 520 (non touchscreen). I’ve ordered a silicone case for it but I’m looking for a screen protector. Which ones are better for these units - glass or film?

Film best not come access glass ones.
Any good quality smartphone one will do. Really cheep ones either come off in time or are not clear enough and effect the sharpness of the screen.
