"Sky blue and black" by Jackson Browne, about the aftermath of relationship breaking up.
"The Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics. It more or less mirrors the relationship between me and my dad in my adult years
And then today on the radio I heard, for the first time in years, "Good Riddance (The Time of your life)" by Green Day. Normally the song wouldn't affect me at all, but hearing it today took me right back. I remember playing guitar while my daughter sang the song at a holiday talent show when she was about 13 or 14. And suddenly she's 28 and I wonder where those years have gone. Even typing this is making me tearful.
