I agree about Janeways voice, and that telepath wouldn't talk to me - she'd know what I thought of her acting.

If it was just conversation though - how about Kirk - he could sing some of those weird songs to make the time go by.

I would have said Kirk, that way you'd know the shuttle would make it safely down, but on the flip side you'd be the anonymous crew member(in red) that would meet a horrible death whilst Kirk survived.
