I've just acquired my Mrs old iphone 4 and want a forum browser for it. Which do people prefer for both reading and replying, quoting etc.

thanks in advance

I have found Tapatalk extremely good. iOS's "push notifications" is a very well designed feature as it let's me keep track of many MANY threads without confusing. Can't say the same of my HTC Android phone...

I use the tapatalk app on my tablet and it seem to work great and does everything I need it to. However, I have not used the others so cannot say much about them

What is Tapatalk all about anyway?
I haven't tried it, or knowingly seen it used, as I just browse and use the forums as I would on my laptop. Does it have any particular advantage I am missing without it?

Tapatalk allows to browse some forums, the forum admin / owner has to register in some way, but not all forums.

Personally I find it much easier for mobile browsing plus it can obviously be used on a smart phone when no PC is handy.

Most forums I use also offer a mobile version but I feel Tapatalk is generally superior.

It's free so worth having a play.

There is a free, Advert supported, version or a couple of quid for the less irritating, ad free, one. It is far better as it auto formats the page on mobiles to a readable level rather than pinching and sliding a big web page around on a mobile screen.

I'm impressed with it.
