Hi folks, I've been cycling for approx 2years commuting to work. I bought a specialized crosstrail sport which I have to say is a pleasure to ride. The time has come to replace to tyres currently it has borough 700x45 (hybrid) I have had 6-7 punctures over the period of 2years. Can anyone reccomend tyres? Someone said try Schwalbe marathon plus 700x38 would these be ok?
Cheers

Yes, Marathon Plus are a very popular tyre, especially among the commuters as they are one of the most puncture resistant tyres on the market.

You could also consider the standard Marathon which is a bit cheaper, a bit lighter and still very puncture resistant. (Guess what I have on my bike? ;))

I've had very good success with Continental Tour Plus. Very puncture resistant, easier to mount than Marathons,
and about the half the price. Zero punctures so far. They do wear faster than Marathons, but are still more
cost effective.
