A lot of them I had to delete once I had got them uploaded to BKool to make space on the 1TB SSD I have on my main machine, I didn't know about BRVR at the time, I do have some more recent rides that haven't been lost. I'll just have to re do the ones lost, coz they were so much fun to do the first time

Is there an app out there that offers 3d virtual riding like Road Grand Tours but with more courses? Not fused about the social aspect, not over keen on the style look of swift.

Merely 1080p HD. I do need to find a setting with VE that reduces the file size without compromising quality too much, just not getting the time ATM.
Just for your own info. If you know what you are doing for 30FPS HD you should be able to get very good quality at 12Mbps and excellent quality at 16Mbps. Your bandwidth meanwhile is about 10 times more at 160Mbps. Here is the example what you can get (unmodified screenshot from my Real Life Video at just 12Mbps): http://exsotron.com/exs_pic/0221_3.jpg ,

I used the tacx App on the iPad. I have a Bluetooth HR strap. That works with Strava on phone as well as tacx app on iPad. IPad mounts to handlebars. I just use the FTP test and sweet spot workouts so far. You can also use a GPX track if you want to simulate a route you've ridden or planned. I usually have some music playing on the iPad.

App is free but videos cost.

Yeah Great Images. I need to find out just what encoding Cycliq are using on the old Fly12, and Virb Edit, probably isn't the best software for stitching the 5 minute segments together, especially as it only gives you the option of poor, Low, Medium, High and Maximum for output. 36 750Mb files should not end up as a 160GB file when stitched together  ... More like 27GB

Hi

For various time and money reasons I'm also looking at this properly (along with the fact that my teenage son could do with one of these for his training).
I used to do a lot of cycling in France and have GPX files for these. I'd relay like to recreate these online and cycle them virtually with google streetview as part of it on a screen.
Is there any particular app from the ones listed her (or elsewhere) that does this particularly well?

Thanks!
